Dear friends, brothers and sisters of Indonesia,

Look at the pictures. It might be something we see everyday. It might be our neighbors, friends or family. That is not the worst part.

The worst part is that we have NO INTENTION in solving it. We treat it like it's just a small matter and leave the government to solve it.

I'm telling you right now that nothing ‘cos this can be solved without participation from ALL INDONESIAN CITIZENS THEMSELVES.

lihatlah gambar ini. Mungkin sekilas hanya sesuatu yang kita lihat setiap hari. Itu bukan bagian tragisnya.

Bagian tragisnya adalah kita SAMA SEKALI TIDAK memiliki keinginan untuk mengatasinya. Kita hanya memperlakukannya seakan itu hanya masalah kecil dan membiarkan pemerintah saja yang mengatasinya.

Sekarang saya beritahukan bahwa masalah ini TIDAK AKAN pernah dapat diselesaikan tanpa partisipasi dariseluruh rakyat Indonesia.

Gelangputih Community ™ is a new born organization here in Indonesia. It represents whiteband in Indonesia (www.whiteband.org) to make sure the MDG's (Millenium Development Goals) are achieved by 2015. The MDG's are:

1. Eradicate Extreme Poverty and Hunger
2. Achieve Universal Primary Education
3. Promote Gender Equality
4. Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other disease
5. Reduce Child Mortality
6. Improve Maternal Health
7. Ensure Environmental Sustainability
8. Develop a Global Partnership for Development

Komunitas Gelangputih ™ adalah organisasi baru di Indonesia yang mewakili whiteband di Indonesia untuk memastikan MDG akan tercapai di Indonesia pada tahun 2015. MDG adalah sebagai berikut: ----di atas

Gelangputih ™ has volunteers from all around Indonesia and is looking for more. We try to decrease problems of Global poverty by getting information monthly from all our members around Indonesia about poverty in their area. We also ask them for their suggestions. If it makes sense, we will do immediate action. WE DO NOT NEED ANY DONATION FROM YOU. All we need is your ideas and information, because we believe ideas last longer than money.

Gelangputih ™ memiliki anggota di seluruh Indonesia dan saat ini sedang tetap mencari anggota baru. Kita akan mengatasi kemiskinan dengan meminta informasi dari seluruh anggota di Indonesia mengenai kemiskinan di daerah mereka. Informasi ini akan diminta tiap bulan disertai dengan pendapat anggota bagaimana cara mengatasinya. Kalau masuk akal, akan segera kita laksanakan. KITA TIDAK MEMBUTUHKAN DONASI, yang kita butuhkan hanya ide dan info dari saudara. Kita percaya bahwa Ide dan Info jauh lebih berharga.

To be a member all you have to do is to register and pay Rp. 200.000 (public)  Rp. 50.000 (student)---once in a lifetime. THIS IS ONLY A COMMITMENT FEE. It will be used to get your souvenirs such as your band, shirt, keyring, form, pen and lots more. You will be given all information of gelangputih's account every month.

SO PLEASE,  DON"T JUST WITNESS THE CHANGE.....BE A PART OF IT.

BY WEARING A WHITEBAND, WE WILL INCREASE ENERGY AND SPIRIT TO REACH THE MDG’S

Untuk menjadi anggota anda hanya harus membayar Rp 200.000 (umum) atau Rp. 50.000 (pelajar/mahasiswa), sekali seumur hidup. INI HANYA UANG KOMITMEN yang akan digunakan untuk suvenir Gelangputih ™ anda. Laporan keuangan akan diberikan setiap bulan.

JANGAN HANYA MENYAKSIKAN PERUBAHAN.....JADILAH BAGIAN DARI PERUBAHAN ITU.
